Make it Happen!

Your contribution to Young Jupiter Women’s Afro Tourism Center is not only an investment in restoring black women’s connection to being land stewards as we restore the land itself; it’s also a radical step toward wealth distribution in a context where Black households have on average 1/8 the wealth of white households in the United States.

Your contribution will enable:

-YJWAC to create meaningful jobs for 5 Black Women who seek to combine a knowledge of land stewardship with creative entrepreneurship to launch their own businesses in connection to a sustainable and culturally diverse food system.

-provide a space for a community center where participants will engage in basic trauma awareness and resilience education through talking circles to connect and address care needs within the community.

-a farm-to-table Afro Quizine program that transforms the fruits of women’s agricultural labor into tasty foods that transport us across the world to the nations of Africa and educate the community about the connections between food, culture, health, and economy.
